I apologize for being MIA for a few days also this post comes way late, but how can I NOT do it? It’s my favorite.

Inspiration: Boys and Arrows

I am in love with these bikinis from California swimwear company Boys and Arrows. I love the vibrant colors and flattering cuts. I especially love their message. They are a company of strong women, celebrating confidence and making memories, which is something I can 100% get behind.

Inspiration: Ani Bikinis

I can’t get over the whimsical feel of these suits from ANI Bikinis. I am a fan of the wrap around bikini top and these are beautiful. I love the texture of the hand dyed fabrics and crocheted knits and all the suits are made in the US.

Inspiration: Mara Hoffman Swimwear

I am not one to spend $200 on a swimsuit, but I cannot stop obsessing over Mara Hoffman’s swimwear line. Her prints are insanely adorable and her shapes are so fun! Can I also say this model is gorgeous? This shoot is just beautiful. It makes me want to go back in time, vacation in Havana and fall in love with a young waiter/revolutionary played by Diego Luna. I could have gone with another film reference, but I don’t care if the world knows I’ve seen Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights. Twice.

Inspiration: Braids and Buns

My hair has been pretty blah lately, so I’ve been throwing it in to a quick braided updo. I’ve had my eye out for new ones and here are the ones that have been the most inspiring.

Inspired by Mary Blair

Lately, I’ve noticed all the items on my want list have something in common. They all remind me of the artwork of Mary Blair. Love it.

Inspired by Hugo

Last night after months of literally begging my husband, he took me to see Hugo. Now, if you know anything about me, you know I’m obsessed with  Georges Melies (If you don’t know who he is, look him up. He is inspiring).  Hugo is about an orphaned boy who lives in a train station and a cranky toy shop owner. It was magical.

Needless to say, it was amazing  and now I’m in an Oxford and tweed blazer mood.
